Iced Caramel Macchiato

Layered Delight for a Coffeehouse Classic

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of espresso using our 817 beans

  • 1/2 cup cold milk

  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce

  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Drizzle caramel sauce inside a tall glass.

  2. Fill the glass with ice.

  3. Pour in cold milk until almost full.

  4. Add espresso shots slowly over the back of a spoon to create layers.

  5. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use 3 shots of espresso.

  • You can also use hot milk instead of cold milk.

  • If you don't have caramel sauce, you can make your own by melting caramel candies in a saucepan over medium heat.

  • This recipe can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

Additional notes:

  • Caramel macchiatos are traditionally made with vanilla syrup, but I prefer the taste of caramel.

  • This recipe is for one serving. You can easily double or triple the recipe to make more.
