Caramel Macchiato

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of espresso, freshly brewed with 817 coffee beans

  • 1 cup milk (your choice of dairy or alternative)

  • 2-3 tablespoons caramel sauce

  • Whipped cream

Instructions:

  1. Caramel Craze: Drizzle the caramel sauce into the bottom of a glass mug.

  2. Milk and Foam: Heat and froth your milk until it's light and airy. Pour the milk gently into the mug over the caramel sauce.

  3. Espresso Time: Carefully pour your espresso shots over the milk layer. The espresso will float on top, creating a beautiful layered effect.

  4. The Crowning Touch: Top with a generous dollop of whipped cream and an extra drizzle of caramel sauce.

Tips:

  • Use a medium roast coffee for a balanced caramel macchiato flavor.

  • For a homemade caramel sauce, combine butter, brown sugar, and heavy cream in a saucepan.
