These beans come from dedicated smallholder farmers, each tending an average of 200 coffee trees. They deliver their freshly picked, ripe cherries to cooperative factories equipped with wet mills for processing.
The journey from cherry to bean is a meticulous one. The cherries are carefully separated using a disc pulper, then undergo a full fermentation process. This is followed by meticulous washing and sun-drying on elevated tables, ensuring optimal quality.
